Drop in Elementary After school Program
Monday-Friday 3:45pm-6:30pm Students in grades 1-5 receive homework help and have access to books, computer lab, internet and printers to complete assignments.  Upon completion of work and required 15 minutes of reading, youth can participate in open recreation.

Elementary Drop in- Saturdays and during school recess from 1pm-4pm for children in grades 1-5.  Recreational programs such as arts and crafts, cooking, Wii, games and trips. 

Youth Center Recreational Programs: Drop in Teen Nights
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturdays 6:30pm-9:30pm September-June. Varied Summer Hours during months of July & August. Provide open recreational hours at center for youth in grades 6 thru 12.  Activities/events include: cooking, computer lab, youth workshops, board & card games, Wii, PlayStation, Rock Band, pool table, air hockey, movie & theme nights & much more.  Offsite tri

Summer Camp-During the months of July and August.   Camp is open to students entering grades 1-5 in the fall.  Campers are grouped according to grade and take part in structured activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor recreation, field trips, theme days, special activities and games.  Licensed by Nassau County Department of Health. 

Our Summer Camp program is for 6 weeks beginning the week July 9th – August 17th from 9:00 -  3:45 the cost is $300.  Students need to be entering 1st Grade thru 5th in September of 2012.

Kids go on trips 2 to 3 days a week including going to the pool, other times are spent in house (Middle School) doing arts and crafts, recreational activities also having some group activities, ie mad science comes in and does fun science activities, there is a carnival day, there are theme days, ie pajama day, crazy hat day, typical summer camp program.  This program is DOH licensed.

In the evenings we have a Summer Fun program for all youth entering MS – HS.  Some nights in house other nights on trips.

Teen Night- Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays during the months of September-June from 6pm-9pm. Safe, fun and supervised drop in programming offered at the Youth Center for students in grades 6 thru 12.  Games, movies, computer lab, dance, hanging out, field trips and more! 

Youth Council
Members consist of middle and high school aged students.  Youth are provided with an open forum to foster communication, information and advocacy on community and youth related issues. Visit here 
Community Action Using Student Empowerment – C.A.U.S.E.
A collaborative of the Glen Cove Youth Bureau & City School District.  Class consists of seniors whom interviewed as juniors and are accepted as C.A.U.S.E. club members.  Goal of C.A.U.S.E. is to empower youth to make positive changes in their lives, school and community.   Students select, plan and execute their own community service projects.  Students actively volunteer at the Glen Cove Youth Center and are  active in charities such as the Ronald McDonald House & The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Pa

Teen Summer Fun- During the months of July and August.  Yout are transported to various offsite trips such as NYC, boat rides, museums, amusement parks, ball games, beaches and other area attractions.
